About This Recipe
"Camping/canoeing recipe"Ingredients
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2 cups margarine or 2 cups butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup light corn syrup
- 9 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup sliced almonds or 1 cup other nutmeats
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
- Cream together first 4 ingredients until smooth.
- Add and incorporate the last 3 ingredients.
- Spread mixture onto a greased pan about ½ inch thick.
- Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown (15 to 20 minutes).
